FOXY BROWN: 'I'M GETTING MARRIED IN SEPTEMBER....AND I'M PREGNANT +' RAPPER'S MOM DEFENDS HER BLACKBERRY WIELDING WAYS; LASHES OUT @ VICTIM

Is Foxy Brown loosing it again. Not her sense of sound, but her sense of sanity? According to the New York Daily News, ol' girl was spotted outside a Bed, Bath & Beyond store in New York, pushing a shopping cart in New York when she suddenly yelled out, 'I'm getting married in September. I'm pregnant.' Now, whether she spewed the outburst on randomly and on purpose or if someone actually asked her what was up with her is still unknown. For the sake of that either/or real or imaginary baby, let's hope not.

In related news, Foxy's mama is lashing out at the woman who claims Foxy pulled a Gap Band move by going oops-upside-her-head with a Blackberry In an interview with the New York Daily News, Judith Marchand broke her long silence and came to the defense of her daughter and the criminal acts that Arleen Raymond has alleged regarding the altercation. "She said, 'Let's fight now that you're alone, b---h,'" Marchand told the tabloid. "My daughter pushed her away and may have brushed her with the phone." Oh, really now, Mama Marchand? "She knows something like this could compromise my daughter's probation so she thinks she's going to get money out of her, but she's not going to get a cent," she promised. Let me find out Foxy inherited the same 'I say and do crazy sh*t that doesn't make any kind of sense' gene from her mama. And to think: her mama is an elementary school teacher!

The ex-Def Jam Records diva -- who recently made headlines with an alleged, near fatal fight in the lower trenches of Brooklyn --is already serving three years' probation for attacking a pair of manicurists. Seeing as though this is Foxy's second time violating her probation since she was sentenced to it not even a year ago, this latest legal run-in could land in jail over the new charges. And let's not forget the fact that the judge who sentenced Feisty Foxy blatantly advised her that her last probation violation would be just that: her last.

In March, Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson warned the rapper that should would allow her to continue on probation with the condition that on the next violation, she would be re-sentenced. “I’m going to give her basically what is a third chance,” the judge said. “I’m going to give her one more chance — three strikes and you’re out. Basically, I’ll be giving the keys to the jailhouse to Ms. Marchand. I’m reserving the right to re-sentence you to jail for a year,” Jackson told Brown, 27, of Brooklyn. “You have the key, but that key will be taken away from you in a flash if you commit another violation. KARRINE STEFFANS ESSENCE.COM INTERVIEW: WHY SHE'LL NEVER MARRY, IRV GOTTI & MALE GROUPIES

Two years after selling nearly 400,000 copies of Confessions of a Video Vixen, a scandalous memoir that outed bold-faced names, making a memorable appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, starting an organization for girls under the banner of female empowerment, and allegedly breaking up the marriage of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Karinne Steffans, 29, is back. The sometime actress, one-time video dancer and full-time entrepreneur is set to tell even more in her eagerly anticipated follow-up The Vixen Diaries (Grand Central Publishing, $24.99), which will be released on September 25. In this first part of a two-part series, essence.com spoke with Steffans about the fallout from Confessions, her new male groupies and the reasons why she'll never get married.

ESSENCE.com: You put a lot of folks' business on blast in Confessions. What more is there to say and how is Vixen Diaries going to be different?
Karrine Steffans: It's a diary and reads like a reality show. I wrote this in real time. Whatever happened that night, I would come home and write it as soon as I got home, so it's still very much in the moment and very fresh. And this book is more Hollywood, where the first book was mostly music, and I no longer live in that world. I live in L.A.

ESSENCE.com: Since Confessions are you persona non grata in Hollywood, New York, Miami and Atlanta?
K.S.: I was like the plague until people realized I wasn't going away after the international success of my book. Now I find that a lot of people want to be in my book because they want to be immortalized. It's almost like being a gossip guru but so much deeper than that. People will tell me things and say, "Be sure you write about this... Can I be in your book?" It's become this "club" that people want to join. I made it to Oprah, so people want to jump on the bandwagon.

ESSENCE.com: So now you have groupies?
K.S.: (Laughs) Believe it or not, I have more male groupies. I had a weird experience with Jamie Foxx with whom I have a long history and we're cool. He was acting like he was in awe of me, and I'm like, "Yeah, right, you're the famous one with an Oscar."

WAITRESS ACCUSES TIFFANY 'NEW YORK' POLLARD OF BEING A PAIN IN THE ASS, A 'RUDE, NASTY PIG', RACIST AND JUST DAMN CRAZY

The following story doesn't surprise me a bit. I won't even elaborate on it. Just read it while shaking your head....

'Flavor of Love' diva Miss New York really knows how to shake up things. The runaway reality TV star -- who is currently filming the second season of 'I Love New York' -- was in The Big Apple last week, but wasn't showing any love to the wait staff at West Chelsea district hotspot Home. According to The New York Post, a waitress at the club tattled that the woman legally known as Tiffany Pollard was acting "racist, overrated, and crazy."

"I went to her table and told her I think she's so cute and funny," the waitress recounted about her star encounter. "Then I went to shake her hand and she looked me up and down, laughed at me and said she had a cold. But immediately after, she shook the hand of another waitress, who is black."

Miss New York, who usually knows how to play her overnight celebrity to the hilt, allegedly caused a scene when she demanded to see new drink glasses coming from the bar directly to her. "She told me someone drugs her drinks when she's not looking," the waitress said. When the staff told her it was impossible, the brazen broad -- who Public Enemy hype-man Flavor Flav passed on twice (on national television) -- began sending her bodyguard over to fetch her cocktails, while bottles of vodka sat on her table. "She acted like a rude, nasty pig all night," the waitress said.

A rep for VH1 -- who created the monster -- told the tabloid, "She was there but denied the claims about how she acted."

Peep the pics below. Oh, and speaking of K. Fed's ex-ex babymama, it looks as if the former hubby of Britney Spears is now enlisting Ms. Jackson into his custody brigade, reports TMZ.com. As she left the event, when asked about her former baby daddy's legal baby-mama-drama, Jackson loudly yelled, "Kevin is a great dad!" Who knew?! Apparently, the criteria for becoming a first-class father of four doesn't include having a job. Party on!

DR. DRE SUES DEATH ROW RECORDS OVER RIGHTS TO 'THE CHRONIC.'

Dr. Dre has sued his former label Death Row Records in bankruptcy court to determine who owns the rights to his 1992 album “The Chronic,” which launched rapper Snoop Dogg and helped to define the gangsta rap era. In his filing Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Los Angeles, Dre said he believes Death Row, now defunct and mired in bankruptcy, is trying to sell off the copyright to his album and in the past month has solicited bids from potential buyers. The artist, who created, produced and was the principal performer on all master recordings for "The Chronic," says he granted Death Row a license to distribute the album in 1992 in exchange for payment of royalties. The album was released on the label in November of that year.

Sometime in March 1996, Dre agreed to relinquish his 50 percent ownership interest in Death Row Records, as specified in a written agreement. Also under that 1996 agreement, Dr. Dre agreed to hand over copyrights to the album on the condition he continue receiving royalties. According to the lawsuit, Dr. Dre held up his end of the bargain, but Death Row has yet to pay the royalties. As a result, Dr. Dre gave Death Row Records notice in 2000 that he was rescinding the agreements and demanding return of the copyrights. Based on that move, Dr. Dre asserts in the lawsuit that he is again the rightful owner of the copyrights and that the defendants - Death Row and the Chapter 11 trustee administering the bankruptcy case - have infringed on his rights by continuing to distribute the album without the rapper's authorization.

Dr. Dre, born Andre Young, is asking the L.A. bankruptcy court to declare that the 1992 and 1996 agreements have been rescinded and force Death Row and the trustee to restore the copyrights to him. He's also asking that the label and trustee be made to pay him restitution for all revenue Death Row received from its use of the copyrights. Dr. Dre also wants the court to issue a permanent injunction that would bar the defendants from offering the copyrights for sale without his written consent.

OPRAH'S STAFFERS UPSET @ CO-WORKER'S $65 GRAND IN OVERTIME; MOGUL BEGINS CONSTRUCTION ON HER NEW STORE.

According to the New York Post's Page Six report, Oprah Winfrey may employ lots of hard workers, but staffers at Harpo Inc. are bitching, moaning and grumbling over the star's production company allowing one well-connected assistant to rake in as $65,000 in overtime pay within a 16-week period. This would mean the woman, Carla Bird, would have worked 18.5 hours a day, Monday through Friday, the New York Post calculated. Several weeks ago, it was discovered by accounting and human resources," a source told the newspaper. "Most employees would have been walked right out the door. Well, that's just not the case for good ol' 'Birdie.'" Bird, an assistant to Winfrey’s co-executive producer Lisa Erspamer, filed for 800 hours of overtime from January through April of this year. Even if Bird had worked seven-day weeks for the three months (despite Harpo employees having the first week of January off), she would average just under 12.5 hours a day.

Lisa Halliday, chief of communications at Harpo, said Bird's overtime claims are accurate. "Many of our employees contribute significant hours of overtime during our production season. This is quite common within the television industry," she told Page Six. "From January to April 2007, this employee legitimately accumulated approximately 800 hours of overtime."

Asked if she were indeed getting special favors from Harpo, Bird told the publication: "I'm not allowed to comment. Thank you."

In related news, just when you thought Oprah had done it all...she surprises you with something often better than the last time.

According to Winfrey's spokespeople, the mass media mogul has started construction on her new store in Chicago. Winfrey makes her mark in retail with the store, which will be within walking distance of Harpo's Studios on the city's Near West Side. The business is expected to draw tourists and audience members who attend tapings and who will likely head to the store afterward. Now, is that a great marketing strategy or what?!

The one-story, 4,500-square foot building will sale merchandise similar to to Winfrey's Web site, www.oprah.com, including t-shirts, bags and baby apparel. The date of the opening of the store is still up in the air and according to Winfrey's spokespeople, plans are still underway.

BEYONCE GIVES AWAY BENZ IN BEANTOWN; SINGER COMMENTS ON EMBARASSING FALL ON STAGE DURING TOUR STOP IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA

To those of you who may care, Christmas came early for one Beyonce Knowles fan. Last Sunday (August 12), Boston, Massachusetts resident, Maritsa Barros was presented with the keys to a brand new spanking Mercedes Benz from the multi-platinum singer at the TDBank North Garden as part of JAM'N 94.5's 'Summer of Cars from Stars' give-away.

Hmmm. We should all be so lucky and by that I'm not referring to a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet and greet Beyonce. I'm talking about winning an off-the- showroom floor sparkling Benz.

Anyhoo, in other Beyonce news, the singer recently commented on what must have been one the most unforgettable, embarrassing moments in her life: the fall on stage during her Beyonce World Tour stop in Orlando, Florida. Home video from one concert-goer captured 'Tumble-yonce's' stepping on her trench coat and then tumbling head-first down 12 steps at the Amway Arena during the opening of her hit song, 'Ring the Alarm.' An Orlando woman at the concert, who did not want to be identified, said Beyonce fell on her face. "We saw that she was pumping her hair around and really into with her trench coat and high heels and as she proceeded to come down the stairs, she tripped on her coat and it seems like she fell on her collarbone and face, sliding down about 12 stairs," the woman said. The home video also showed Beyonce getting up after the fall and continuing to dance.

So, just how embarrassed was Beyonce about that horrendous fall? The curvy diva told 'Extra': "Actually, I was so in shock and in so much pain, I didn't think about that. I knew it would end up on YouTube. It was a little embarrassing ... and I know I'll fall again."
